I don't care what peeps think...usually. But when it could potentially cause harm to someone...I have an issue.
Saw this:
Okay, while I do agree for a while people were over medicated and misdiagnosed....these diseases do exist!!!!!!!!
What is funny is I saw this posted today....
Make up your f**king mind...do you think its real or not?!?!!? My point is the first statement(s) about ACTUAL mental disorders not existing is bad. They aren't lies. They are REAL. You may believe God made us who we are but that doesn't mean we have to live with serious illnesses. I can't imagine God wanting us to suffer. Are you going to tell me "God made you with cancer therefore don't treat it"? NO! Or that "God created you with depression so you would take your own life"? NO! First off Suicide is just an awful thing, and second... I mean it is frowned upon by God...."According to the theology of the Catholic Church, death by suicide is considered a grave matter, one of the elements required for mortal sin." Suicide=Bad.
Generally speaking...this FB post is stupid!!!!
Those aren't LIES. They are real, just as real as any other illness and those people need help. I'm sorry but prayer alone and "acceptance" can't fix a CHEMICAL IMBALANCE in the brain. You don't have to suffer because "God made you broken", you just have to learn to fix what HURTS you and live your life.
Religion is fine...great...faith=good but this $hit PISSES ME OFF!
Most people will say life gives them Lemons at some point in their life, and the common response is "Make Lemonade". Well I want to say I am tired of making lemonade! Why can't life give me a better 'fruit'? I hope you can learn something or at least be amused by some of the off the wall things that happen in my life. I will also post random product reviews, movie reviews, book reviews, etc...I am a random person and like to keep all my lemons in one place.

So you are telling me Eternal Damnation is in my future....k
People that hide behind religion and use it as an excuse to be an @$$hole are not actually good people.
You can be Catholic and not spit on a woman walking into Planned Parenthood.
You can have your beliefs and not call someone a whore because they got pregnant without being married.
You can think whatever you want but it doesn't give you the right to make someone else feel like they are below you because they messed up or believe differently.
No matter what you believe...what religion you follow or don't follow...what God you pray or don't pray to, its not an excuse to harm another person whether that is physically or emotionally.
Jesus said "let he who is without sin cast the first stone". Basically meaning you don't know someone's situation, don't judge. Instead maybe try to help them without being a jerkface! Not "OMG you sinner, let me burn your house down".
You are not the judge of others. He said "Treat others as you want to be treated". If you want people to be butts to you, okay fine but this usually isn't the case.
LOVE ONE ANOTHER! Not, only love people who see things from your point of view and believe what you believe.
I was "informed" because I love and support my family member and friends who happen to be gay, I will go to hell. That I should "love them from a distance" because their souls are dammed. WTF...really?
I was "informed" that because I took on the roll of "Aunt" to a child not related to me who happened to be born with no father known...I am perpetrating Satan's plan. Ummmm...what?
I was "informed" (again) that because my parents are divorced and had the marriage annulled years later the church considers me to be illegitimate. Are you serious right now...?
I might not be a practicing Catholic at the moment but from where I stand I do more things in Jesus' image than most of the practicing Catholic's I know.
WWJD...Yea I don't think he would abandon those who have been ousted by society. Let a mother and child be forgotten because she made a "mistake". Not love me because my parents made a VERY DIFFICULT decision and realized their marriage was toxic to each other and not a good environment for ME. Was it all butterflies and rainbows...no, it sucked BUT it worked out in the end.
"Things are either right or wrong, there is no gray area". Yes...true...I guess. But Forgiveness and Acceptance was my takeaway...not persecution and hatred.
Just my thoughts...rant over...people suck...love your neighbor...be excellent to each other and party on dudes!

May the force be with you
"And also with you"...wait...
Moving on...this isn't about "The Last Jedi", so have no fear..but if you haven't seen it. GO SEE IT!
That isn't your lord and savoir...that is a Jedi Master (a very attractive Jedi Master) and he's our only hope.
No, ok. I finally said to one via private chat (because I'm not a complete @$$hole), "sweetie...that's Obi-wan Kenobi". Hand to god, she said "Is he a Saint?".
You're kidding...Right. No...okay, so not everyone is a fan of Star Wars but "is he a Saint"?!?!?!? I mean what kind of Catholic are you!?!?!?!!? "Is he a Saint".
What's crazy is in like 500 years (if we don't kill ourselves off first) this WILL be a standard picture of Christ and I just think that is the funniest thing EVER. A picture of a fictional character will be seen as the Messiah. I think there is a joke in there somewhere. You heard it from me first (I think)...some troll created a Meme that will one day be seen as a representation of the son of God.

Its back.....
I have seen this way too many times on my FB wall. I thought it was a "haha". It is not a "haha". Okay for some its a "haha" but most...no "haha". Most I am seeing don't get the f**king joke and are putting #praisejesus.
THAT IS NOT A REPRESENTATION OF JESUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Educate yourself BEFORE you speak
Also - stating opinion as fact is WRONG 100% of the time. Also believing your are right in any situation does not give you the right to be an @$$hole...being an @$$hole actually diminishes the validity your argument.
Look I am all about Freedom of Speech and Expression. I can handle people who don't always see things the same way as I do. But I'll be damned if you think I am going to sit there and let you spew "information" at me that is not only inaccurate but also insulting.
It is not a secret that I am a child of divorce or that I was raised Catholic. Apparently that was all the rage back in the day. Get married in the 70's, have a few kids, get divorced in the 80's. Whatever, not everyone I knew came from a divorced family but there were a few of us. NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH US. My parents and theirs thankfully raised us semi-normally.
With that said I will not sit back at the age of f**king 30+ and listen to you tell me that kids of divorce are always f**ked up and lead awful pointless lives. What?!?!?! Listen here @$$hole, I know quite a few children of divorce and while yes some of them have issues, MOST of us are fine. We have grown up, have educations, have jobs, have spouses, some have kids, and almost all of us are happy and not on drugs or whatever other crazy $hit I just heard. We didn't fall down the rabbit hole of drugs/financial instability or any of that nonsense YOU have been brainwashed to think. Most of our parents remarried and we love our steps because they are GOOD PEOPLE!
Also, just because a Catholic Marriage is annulled doesn't mean any kids in the marriage are now illegitimate. What fear mongering non-sense have you been reading?!?! Do NOT sit there and tell me that because my parents had their marriage annulled 12 years after the divorce and 8 years after being remarried that now me and my brothers are "illegitimate". Educate yourself on YOUR religion before you make yourself look dumb.
While I can accept that you believe that and think that MY FAMILY is wrong, don't argue with me when I show you facts. Don't tell me that my family did WRONG because they wanted their 2nd marriages blessed by the church after almost 10 years. F**k they've been married for over 25 years now...whatcha think about that? Still think its wrong...? That's fine but call me "illegitimate" again and we are going to have an issue. Because according to YOUR CHURCH, I am not.
"For this reason (or for other reasons that render the marriage null and void) the Church, after an examination of the situation by the competent ecclesiastical tribunal, can declare the nullity of a marriage, i.e., that the marriage never existed. In this case the contracting parties are free to marry, provided the natural obligations of a previous union are discharged."
"Although an annulment is thus a declaration that "the marriage never existed", the Church recognizes that the relationship was a putative marriage, which gives rise to "natural obligations". In canon law, children conceived or born of either a valid or a putative marriage are considered legitimate..."
So okay yea my parents divorced and the marriage was nulled BUT according to the church (after an INVESTIGATION) it was deemed a valid or putative marriage i.e. WE ARE STILL LEGITIMATE. So f**k off with your half @$$ED assessment of things you clearly know NOTHING ABOUT.
Also, children of divorce are not all predisposed to get divorced. What cracked out preacher told you that? In my experience many children of divorce are LESS likely to divorce (actually they are less likely to marry in the first place) BECAUSE they don't want to go through the BS. Meaning I know I don't want to go through what my parents went through therefore I'm gonna do my darnedest to NOT marry someone unless I think we can stick it out. Does this include everyone, OF COURSE NOT, but neither does your assessment so go back in your high an mighty bubble and leave me alone.

Holy homophobia Batman!
Okay that sounds ten kinds of awful but it was the first thing that popped in my head.
Its Christmas, right? A time for peace on earth and good will towards men. Its a time when being a decent human being SHOULD come more naturally. Its a time of acceptance and love. Or its a time to be a total c**t and say horrible things. Yea I definitely remember learning that last one in my religion classes.
Me: Ugh I hate Walmart! Sooooo many people *blah*
Person 1: Well don't go to the one on *insert specific location* its full of gay people!!!!
Me: *blank stare*
Person 2: *judging stare* Well that doesn't bother me....
Me: Me neither....
Person 1: No, you don't understand they are like openly gay in that store!!!!
Me: I mean are they f**king in aisles? Or groping each other inappropriately...?
Person 2: What happened?
Person 1: I was there with my Aunt and two BOYS went walking by holding hands and being realtionship-y
Me: *confused* and...?
Person 1: and...?!? And its like they think its okay!
Person 2: *horrified expression*
Me: I'm pretty sure it is okay.... But if you don't like seeing that then go to one of the other 10 locations in the area. I mean did they do or say anything to y'all...?
**At this point I am trying not to start an argument but I am getting annoyed**
Person 1: YES!
Me & Person 2: Oh...what happened?
Person 1: *very matter of fact* They were buying Christmas presents and decorations. They are gay, they can't celebrate Christmas.
Me: Says who...? Hold up, aren't you Catholic? Aren't you taught to accept everyone? Love thy neighbor and whatnot.
Person 2: Didn't you have an affair? I think that means YOU can't celebrate Christmas.
Person 1: *shocked expression*
Me: *oh $hit* Um, Merry Christmas....?
Person 1: f**k both of you f*g lovers! *walks away*
Me: *jaw drop* I'm pretty sure she can't say that......I'm offended.
Person 2: *laughing* I am too.
This is almost word for word! I know people are @$$holes but holy $hit!!! I guess I don't usually surround myself with such awful people so this shocked me a bit. Talk about being in the Christmas spirit.

If they appear when angels are near, why are they such @$$holes?!?!
So I saw this today:
And while I've heard that before I don't get it. I read the article. It is very sweet but I think if that is the case...I attract the wrong angels. Or better yet my loved ones that have moved on are a bunch of pranksters even in the afterlife! I have a family of cardinals that lives in my front yard and they are 100% @$$holes. This is the bird that chases me around when I do yard work. Or chases me to the front door of my office because its reflection insulted his mum or something. There is absolutely nothing "angelic" about it.
This is also the bird that perches himself on the "wreath hook" on my front door and glares daggers at me until I decide to go in the side door. So either I pissed off someone of the divine realm or cardinals are just mean as f**k! I will say though, they have never actually harmed me, just spooked me a bit (I like my eyes NOT pecked out). They mostly watch me and complain from a distance. They sit on my windowsills and stare inside (CREEPERS!). They fuss at the dogs from the fence. They stare at me when I get the mail. They shred my paper to make their nests and crap all over my summer door hanger thingy.
Come to think of it...if they were human, I'd have a TRO...

"The TV show made me do it" would not stand up in a court of law......right?
TV isn't the devil...networks aren't the devil...watching shows about the devil/demons/the occult doesn't make you a sinner. Soooo why all the fuss? I thought we lived in a "free" country. I thought we had "free will". Free will and free country mean you don't have to watch certain shows. I certainly choose not to watch reality TV. I don't like it, so I don't watch it, but I'm not gonna cause a big fuss about its immorality.
"But what if my kids see it!"
Well, do as my parents did back in the day...tell them NO! You all have "parental" controls now, use them. Way back when my parents just said "don't watch MTV" or "Don't let me catch you watching Beavis and Butthead" so of course we did watch it and while that show was 10 kinds of WRONG, I didn't think it was a good idea to cover my brother in honey and stick him near an ant pile.
They also couldn't stop us from watching HBO. We were told not to but after a certain time they were sleeping and "Real Sex 29" or whatever was on. And I am fairly certain my brothers watched it ALL THE TIME (ew).
Today, people are LOSING THEIR MINDS over the shows Lucifer and Damien...more so Lucifer and it is hilarious! None of them have watched the show(s)...that is obvious but they have some crazy strong opinions as to why, and I quote, "shows like this allow evil into our houses". Really...really...? Are you sure shows like "Cheaters", "Keeping up with the Kardashians", & "16 & Pregnant", to name a few, aren't to blame? Because I am pretty sure those travesties are based on REAL PEOPLE and REAL EVENTS, where as Lucifer and Damien are works of FICTION!
My opinion, its dumb. "But 'Lucifer' glamorizes the devil! It makes you feel sorry for him and want to be his friend". Okay that is kind of true. Sort of. I mean he is still the DEVIL. He is still a "bad guy". The show does humanize him a bit but he's still scary. And he doesn't try to hide the reality that he is in fact the devil. He tells everyone and everyone CHOOSES to ignore him. Think about THAT for a second! The show doesn't depict him as being sneaky. He is blatantly doing immoral things and calls himself the Devil and people disregard him.
The thing that KILLS me more is when they are like "they make it look like Lucifer was wronged by God!" Alright, I see what you are saying but shouldn't you learn your angelic tales a bit. Overly simplified version. Lucifer was one of the favorites. He was an archangel. He was the "Morning star", the "Bringer of Light" and he fell from grace because he didn't agree with what God was doing and thought he could do it better. He wanted to be worshiped. He was cast into hell for having an opposing opinion. I am not defending the biblical devil, I am just paraphrasing. The show, which is based loosely on a comic (NOT THE BIBLE), gives you things from his perspective. In the show, he got bored, he made himself human, and is learning how being human kind of sucks.
And honestly it is f**king HILARIOUS. It really is. If my holy roller mother can appreciate it for what it is (satire) then all you crackheads needs to quite your over analyzed b**ching. In the show he says he can't affect free will. He CAN make you tell him your darkest desires and wants. Then use them against you. Unfortunately that is not just a devil trick...that is a trait of humanity. Find someones weakness and use it against them. There is no such thing as "the devil made me do it". The devil can tempt you. The devil can persuade you. The devil cannot make you do anything. You have to choose right vs wrong. Here is comes again...FREE WILL. We.all.have.it.
Its funny they are so focused on this (probably bc the name of the show is Lucifer) because Supernatural touched on this YEARS ago. Luci on that show is trying to tempt Sam. He can't force him into anything, Sam has to decide for himself. The devil comes across as kind and caring...just misunderstood. And Sam decides to choose Lucifer to save the world. Is he a bad guy, of course, but my point is they went down a similar path and I don't recall as much of an outrage.
So here it is, you can have an opinion (just like me) but
- a TV show called Lucifer/Damien isn't going to bring evil into your life.
- a TV show called Lucifer/Damien isn't going to tempt you to do immoral things.
- a TV show called Lucifer/Damien isn't going to make your children devil worshipers.
Plus these are both rated "Mature" meaning, your spawn shouldn't be looking at them anyway. You can opt NOT to watch it. No one is forcing you to watch it. But I wouldn't be so focused on these if you are allowing little Johnny and Jane to watch "Real Housewives of _______" with you. Those are probably worse morally than watching a fictional show about the devil. At least with Lucifer/Damien you can teach that it isn't real....with reality TV...even as scripted as it is...that is still a shining example of human depravity.
"But what if my kids see it!"
Well, do as my parents did back in the day...tell them NO! You all have "parental" controls now, use them.

I think we are overdue for a new plague...
Alright, that sounds really awful and honestly I do not want to go through something like that. But as stated in a previous post our society is in a downward spiral plummeting towards something really really really REALLY bad.
I don't know what happened. I am not a religious fanatic (obviously but I still have MORALS) so I'm not gonna be like "y'all need Jesus" but...ya know what "y'all need Jesus!" Or at least what he represented. Some sort of moral compass. Love thy neighbor. Don't take what isn't yours. Quit MURDERING people...which if we are being truthful that kind of goes along with the "don't take what isn't yours" thing. Their LIFE isn't yours to take!!!!!!!
Why can't people cope with their life without enacting harm on another person?!?! It's like an epidemic! Life is hard, I know this. I have stupid crap happen all the time. Look rejection sucks...but...Rejection.is.normal. Rejection is a healthy part of life. Rejection makes you strive harder. Rejection makes you better yourself so that next time you get what ever it was.
You will not always make the team.
You will not always get the job.
You will not always get the promotion.
You will not always get the girl/guy.
You will not always GET WHAT YOU WANT.
That doesn't mean that you now have the right to harm another person because you were rejected.
Maybe its because I am older but I really feel like the world has become an absolute nightmare. A place where you can hurt someone or take their life just because YOU feel wronged in some way. More often than not I am hearing about people who take EXTREME measures against others because they didn't get their way. It is like they never got passed that Toddler Temper Tantrum phase.
If a girl/guy/company rejects you:
- You do have the right to be upset
- You do have the right to be angry
- You do have the right to throw YOUR things, in YOUR residence
***not at another living creature
- You do have the right to question YOUR choices
- You do not have the right to physically attack anyone
***which also means not MURDERING them whether by your hand or a hired one
- You do not have the right to stalk - This includes but is not limited to:
- Showing up at their work
- Showing up at their home
- Showing up when they are out with friends/family
- You do not have the right to harass them
- You do not have the right to damage their property - This includes but is not limited to:
- Slashing their tires
- Breaking their windshields
- Throwing bricks through windows
- You do not have the right to harass their friends/family
- You do not have the right to harm their pets (there is a special place in hell for you if you do)
Just because you have been "wronged" does NOT give you the right to do anything but move on. You should NEVER lay hands on another person unless in self defense.
No I wasn't attacked but someone I know lost their CHILD because of a "jealous" ex. It doesn't matter that this person was an adult...they are still someone's CHILD and their life ended prematurely because someone else couldn't cope with them moving on with THEIR LIFE.
P.S. This includes when you are a parent. If your child is rejected, teach them a lesson...don't go bat$hit crazy to "save" their feelings. You are making it WORSE.
P.P.S. People have differing opinions and lifestyles. Unless their choices are harming you in some way (which is RARE) you have NO RIGHT to harm them or control them. Live YOUR life and leave them alone to live THEIR life.

What is happening?!?! The Passion isn't supposed to make me laugh....
Oh man...oh man...I am so going to hell now. Y'all! Y'aaaaaall! Alright I am watching "The Passion Live". And it's not bad....really. Its...just...uh...different.
I am mainly watching because it is in NOLA (NOLA Proud, what what) but I am also watching because it honestly looked good. And despite the goofiness I post, I was raised Catholic so I wanted to see it. And it really is good. But the modernizing of the story of The Passion of Christ is TRIPPING ME OUT!
I know they said it would be a retelling of the story with modern songs and stuff but I lost it a bit as Jesus and Peter started singing "Home" while walking down Royal Street. Its fitting but it caught me off guard.
Flash forward to the breaking of bread thing and Jesus bought his bread from a FOOD TRUCK. I was dying. He walked up and was like "3 loaves of bread please". *snort*
Then Judas is having an internal conflict and busted out "Bring Me To Life". And while I LOVE that song and Daughtry was pretty phenomenal....I just...I guess I never thought of that song fitting with this story. But it did. Dang it...I'm conflicted.
Moving on. I am home alone and they are all sleeping under the CCC. And he's about to be arrested, right. The freaking NOPD S.W.A.T. team shows up to arrest Jesus. I lost my $hit. I said "Dammit NOPD this is why we can't have nice things! You arrested the Messiah!!!!" And I died laughing a little and then said "OMG, this show is making me a really bad person!"
So I am thinking this can't get any "weirder" and *BAM* Peter is walking through a NOLA hood being asked if he was with that Jesus guy (he denies it...typical). Then he sings "The Reason" in a freaking NOLA Cemetery and I just...what is happening?!?!?
Suddenly we are watching Jesus get dragged on stage by the S.W.A.T. team in....AN ORANGE JUMP SUIT! I legit *snorted*. It's not funny, dang it! This is a serious part of the story!!! He is standing trial...and I am a giggling mess on my couch. "Ooooo no honey boo, orange is NOT your color" (in my best impression of Agador from The Birdcage).
Holla, Jesus is on top of the freaking WESTIN hotel singing "Unconditionally". It made me smile but like a happy smile. I love this song and it does fit well. Then I got nervous because he is WAY up there and its windy tonight. But I will say the wind made for a fairly awesome scene.
And then....we pan out and see my BEAUTIFUL city! Closing with "When the Saints go Marching in" and I just...what an odd choice....I love you NOLA! Never change!!!!
Okay all in all, it was pretty great! Now when I hear these songs I will think of this. And that isn't necessarily a bad thing. I just couldn't stop my giggles...so sue me!

He's running for President?!?!? I thought he was "dead".....
I try to not be too political...too religious/anti-religious...too anything really. I believe what I believe and if you believe differently, that's fine. But somethings...I see them and I just want to Gibbs Slap people.
What the actual f**k?!?!! I'll tell you what I'm gonna shout...go chomp on some arsenic...and for the love of whomever please don't vote...or reproduce...
Look I get it, our choices for the next president are pretty meh but REALLY?!?!? Do you know how our electoral system works??? That's not how it works!!! You CANNOT VOTE FOR A DEAD GUY! Even if said dead guy rose from the dead and went home only to be born again. He might be our "only hope" (wait...I thought Obi-wan was our only hope...?) but he can't be President.
Unless the second coming is happening this is STUPID! Even if the 'second coming' is happening, he can't run...he's not a natural born citizen. Well he is if he happens to be reborn here but I doubt any deity would want to come back as an American...especially not now. Actually why would any deity want to come back period...our world is a f**ked up place. Just keep your spot in the bleachers and watch this insanity unfold.
I get what they are trying to elude to but the "he has my vote" makes me want to run around screaming and throwing skittles at people. No...just no...JUST NO!
Yes yes yes...a deity could just take over because powerful and whatnot but I am being literal...because its funny.

So if I plant them do I get my own mini savior...?
Oh my, I might be going to hell for that one. But you laughed, didn't you? *muahahaaha*
What...why...I don't...why...? And by the way the first time I read it, I read "Jesus promises seed" and was confused. Also, they look like sun bleached candy corn. I HATE candy corn *shudder*.
Is this a new thing? I've never seen "scripture candy" before. Like I know some Easter candies have other meanings related to Easter but this is new to me. I'm not being a complete jerk I am genuinely curious. I just don't think I agree with the branding. If we are going for the "seed" thing why not do something like chocolate covered sunflower seeds or jelly beans. Those look more like seeds to me. These just look, unappetizing.
Also, I don't know how I feel about saying I ate "Jesus Seeds"...its just...its just WEIRD.

I don't get the seed thing... Am I missing something? Did I forget part of my religious upbringing? Is it like...so a promise when planted like a seed grows into something beautiful...? Okay, I can get behind that.
He made a proclamation to come back after dying for our sins. Is that the promise?
Also, I don't know how I feel about saying I ate "Jesus Seeds"...its just...its just WEIRD.

Santa is not a Demon. You people have gone too far. Stop ruining Christmas with your nonsense!
Look I am all about freedom of religion, belief, choice, opinion, whatever but do NOT ruin something for everyone...especially kids...because YOU suddenly feel like everything that doesn't directly says "Jesus Christ" is satanic.
I saw something on Social Media that made me want to go on a spree. Still undecided if it was a murdering spree or running spree...but it was one of them. I saw this:
"Santa's a Demon! The uncomfortable truth about Christmas"
I saw the article linked to a "friend's" page along with the statement that said "This is why I told my child that Santa, the Easter bunny, etc. isn't real and we celebrate Jesus Christ in my house!"
Okay fine. That's fine. No.It.Isn't!!! Your child is 7. Why would you take this away from your baby?!?!?! He is being raised catholic/christian. All of his cousins and classmates Believe in Santa. Why would you ruin the magic of Christmas like this?!?!?! Not to mention, if he goes to school or to his cousin's house and regurgitates that, how do you think those parents will feel? How do you think those kids will feel? I can tell you right now if your extremest uneducated skewed religious bull$hit spoiled the magic of Christmas for one of MY littles, you better run because I can't be held responsible for my actions. And you better run fast because I've been training and I am pretty quick.
Why can't you teach him that Christmas is about Jesus and still let him enjoy the magic? I grew up believing in Santa and I didn't turn into a "devil worshiper". This is the stupidest thing I have ever read in my life. This takes the cake on extreme religion. I am sorry you are "scared of Santa" but come on. Do you even know the origin story???? Do you? Because based on this fear mongering article you shared you do not! And just because Santa and Satan are spelled similarly doesn't mean anything!!!!
Read this. Yea yea, I know History Channel isn't law but they do a pretty good job when it comes to research...usually. It is widely believed that Santa Claus is based off of St. Nicholas (a real person). "The name Santa Claus evolved from Nick’s Dutch nickname, Sinter Klaas, a shortened form of Sint Nikolaas (Dutch for Saint Nicholas)." What the f**k is Satanic about that?!?!?!
12/25 is a pagan holiday, therefore Santa is a pagan god. Hey, again...know your history. Yes 12/25 is originally a "pagan holiday". It is the final day for the celebration of the Winter Solstice. A holiday that was literally hijacked by Christians. So while you are correct, Jesus was probably born in the Spring, our religious forefathers more than likely decided that it was a time when people already celebrated things so why not use it as Jesus' birthday. The celebration of Saint Nicholas is 12/6 or 12/19 depending on where you are from...so I guess they kind of morphed together for some of us. At least that is my understanding.
Krampus isn't the underlying "demon" hiding behind Santa or Santa Claus' alter-ego, making Santa "evil". Do you even know how to Google?!? Or go the f**king library. "Krampus is believed to be a beastial creature who accompanies St. Nicholas on his earthly journey. While St. Nicholas rewards the good children with gifts and sweets, Krampus dispenses punishment to the wicked children who have strayed from the path of good. It is said he takes care of St. Nick's "naughty list"." Krampus was created to scare the $hit out of naughty kids just like the legend of Santa has morphed into a figure to reward "nice" kids...so they'd behave! If anything Krampus makes Santa appear even more Saintly. And lets be real, you only know about Krampus because of that crazy movie that just came out. Almost no one here in the states knew what that thing was before so just stop.
This isn't a f**king witch eating a baby in some sort of demon worship!!!!
This is Grýla. Grýla is a mythical giantess living in the mountains of Iceland. Most of the stories told about Grýla were to frighten bad children.
My point is there isn't anything Satanic about Santa, Krampus, or Grýla. These are stories to scare little kids into behaving. There is nothing pagan about December 25th or Santa. Unless you are a pagan and are celebrating the Winter Solstice, it's f**king Christmas! Why do people have to ruin Christmas with their ignorant bull$hit!
Side Note - does that mean that little Johnny doesn't get gifts for Christmas because that is part of the "pagan" tradition? Or are you going to say the gifts represent the gifts from the Magi? Because if that's the case you should wait until 1/6 (Three King's Day or the Epiphany). I'm not trying to be an @$$hole...wait, this time I am. People make me STABBY!!!!!
Oh and while we are at it Xmas (yes I know its a Wiki link but it makes sense) does not mean we are removing "Christ" from Christmas . It is a shortened version of the word, not meant to be disrespectful. It was happening LOOOOONG before some crackhead in recent history decided to get pissy about it. I can't put it any better than this response to someone who was butthurt by the word "Xmas": " 'X' is the Greek letter "Chi" which is the first letter of "Christos". You should probably be aware that the fish that's almost certainly on the back of your car "ΙΧΘΥΣ" is an acronym for "Ίησοῦς Χριστός, Θεοῦ Υἱός, Σωτήρ", which translated means "Jesus Christ, Son of God, Saviour" so the use of "X" in "Xmas" actually doesn't violate your sensitive beliefs" ~ Chris Hardwick. Meaning, if people write xmas, they aren't being jerks. If you want to write out Christmas go 'head.
My point is stop trying to make something out of nothing. Stop trying to find evil in innocent things. Stop being an @$$hole! If you don't like the commercialism of Santa, fine...but don't ruin it for everyone else. Be respectful of others just like you DEMAND them to be respectful of you.

Do I look like a sinner? What exactly does a sinner look like? How does a cute smiling business professional equal "you need religion"?!?!?!?!
So I was checking out at the store completely absorbed in the bickering couple in front of me. They were HILARIOUS! I'll recap their convo in another post. So anyways, as I am patiently waiting my turn this tiny Asian woman taps me on the shoulder, hands me a tiny booklet about the size of a checkbook and says "you need this". She pats me on the shoulder and looks at me expectantly, meanwhile her husband shakes his head and looks away. It was black and orange so OF COURSE I thought it was something Halloween related. (shoosh, I have Halloween on the brain, alright?!?)
Then I opened it up...
And I just, okay...I should have expected that...
SIDE NOTE - I am getting a "Walking Dead" vibe from that "blind" man...you can't fool me brain eating zombie!
I'm not concerned that it is a religious message...that's fine.
Also, do demons really say "Yaaah!" when being exorcised????? Supernatural forgot to teach me that!
"He's got the wholeworld universe, in his hands. He's got the whole wide world universe in his hands....."
Hmmmm and here I was thinking it was gravitational pulls, dark matter, and whatnot. (shut up I know its metaphorical...at least I hope...). Completed control...What about Free Will...?
I'm no expert here but that looks like an invasion. Hasn't anyone seen a sci-fi movie?!!?!? That is what happens when Loki opens the portal and the Chitauri come through! So Jesus is an Alien?!?! Someone call Giorgio Tsoukalos and tell him he was right after-all.
There is only one way into heaven...
And it seems to involve a....book? (psssst not the Bible...well the Bible too but don't forget this one...shhhh)
Ahhhhh, I see now...you want some money...that's what will "help" save me. Good one Jesus comic *rolling eyes*.
So all that to get me to buy a book...really?!?!?
And people wonder why I am so weird when it comes to religion. I have faith but as I get older my views and understanding change. I'm not saying these people's beliefs are wrong, I am just saying its rude to tell a complete stranger they need Jesus. I'm really not trying to be an @$$hat. No but really why the hell did that woman think I "needed this"?!?!?!? I clearly look like a heathen in need of saving in my black work pants and pink conservative blouse, buying laundry detergent and cat food. *hisses*
A serial killer...right?!?!?
And I just, okay...I should have expected that...

Why is Ray Charles in my comic?!?
I'm more concerned about the representation of humanity...
You know, I don't think the answer will surprise me since you said "Jesus" 50 times.
"He's got the whole
Hmmmm and here I was thinking it was gravitational pulls, dark matter, and whatnot. (shut up I know its metaphorical...at least I hope...). Completed control...What about Free Will...?
Like how soon...? Will I get to at least see what happens on the new X-Files?!?!? (sorry...not sorry)
There is only one way into heaven...

*hisses*

I do not think it means what you think it means. . .
So while I can appreciate the posts about faith and stuff, I think some go a little over board with it. And that is where my cynicism rears its ugly head. If posting scripture makes you feel go, go ahead... somethings...are...concerning.
For instance when I see "Hello Jesus, I'm ready to come home"...
...I get a tad concerned. Because to me that is asking for death. If you are telling your Messiah you are ready to come home, you are asking for entrance into heaven...RIGHT?!!?! So you are saying you are okay with dying. Look being a good person so you go to heaven and saying you are ready to go home...I just..what? And while I can appreciate acceptance of death...if you are a healthy person under the age of 60...you shouldn't be ready to die! You have two kids...why would you want to leave them!?!?!? This seems very cult-esq...don't drink the koolaid...
I can understand this if you are terminally ill...in chronic pain...or just really really old but why before then? Why accept death when you have so much more life to live?!?! Yea anything can happen but wouldn't that be a slap in the face to our higher power...since you are ready to give up on the life you have left to go "home"...?
Then to post "It ain't over, till God says its over. Keep fighting"...that is contradictory...right!?!?!? Maybe I am being a stickler or too literal but I can't help it. In one sentence you are welcoming death (like an old friend), while in the other you are saying don't give up...keep fighting. Talk about mixed messages.
Just an observation. This is also a person that tells me Jesus talks to them all the time...not like I hear his message in the world around me...I mean like literally TALKS to them when they are praying...so yea..I dunno. Hearing "voices" concerns me. Either they are a prophet or well...never mind.

(insert thing you disagree with) is the DEVIL ~ Mama Boucher
Driving in to work, stopped in traffic, "Lalalaaaaaaaahhhhhhh what the f**k is that?!!?"
Sweet baby Jes...Spongebob has been places, he's seen things. He has been scorched by the hell-fire and lived to tell the tale. He is now traveling the country on to warn us of what awaits should we continue on our heathenish path. Or he is trying to tempt me to the dark side. I haven't quite decided which one it is yet. Maybe if they have cookies (kidding).
Speaking of hellish...things...WTF is this supposed to mean!?!?!?
Is this implying women are the devil in disguise, sent here to lead you astray?!?!?! Listen here d**kwad, at least if you are going to make a "point" use proper sentences, *This speakS volumeS to me. And if you ever want to get laid again, I suggest NOT comparing females to demons. Yea yea, it says "adulterous" female in the text but wouldn't the SAME apply to an adulterous male? Women aren't evil, men aren't evil, people aren't evil...INDIVIDUALS are evil. Stop generalizing! My point is, it is dumb.
Then I saw this and wanted to stab my eyeballs out.
First off, ew. Nothing should be COVERED in the blood of ANYONE. I know his "blood" is a metaphor for the sacrifice made to save us lowly creatures. But, I REALLY want to post something so outrageous in response... And not because I want to knock their faith but because these same persons feel they have the "right" to bash my beliefs, attack me, and put me down for thinking differently. NOT religion per se but other things I've posted about...like Equality, Racism, Rights, etc. Anyways, I'm thinking pics....

But I wont because then my mom will see it and I'll get an earful for being an @$$hole. Which I'm really not trying to belittle their beliefs, I just don't...*ugh* Here and there is whatever but if you have to profess this to social media everyday that you are "Christian" and then act like a jerk-off to everyone who doesn't agree with you, you may have other issues...
Yes, yes good on you to have a very strong faith BUT I do not think Satan or Jesus checks your Facebook page. And unless you somehow blessed the server where your page is hosted, your "page" isn't covered by anything accept web-crawlers trying to figure out your online patterns to post weirdo ads to your oh so "sacred" page. So be careful when you are browsing forPorn sermons, Jesus/Satan may see it.
