This is like a throw back to my early teens.  I mean the song came out in 1993.  I was what...12.  OMG I wasn't even a teen yet!  I was going to sock hops & CYA dances and dancing to this!  CYA Dances!!!!!  That is the CHRISTIAN Youth Association.  How WRONG is that?!?!  I even had a cassette tape of it!!!!  Mom what were you thinking?!?!

Finally, I can have a blood curdling scream coming from my pocket and it won't get me strange stares!!! Well mostly...maybe...eh, who cares!

It's October b**ches!!!  You know what that means?!?!?  It means my ringtone is now "This is Halloween" and my text tone is currently a blood curdling scream.  Well sometimes.  They will get changed to the Halloween theme, Jason's theme, the Exorcist theme...you get the picture.  I just can't help myself.  "Ch ch ch ch, ah ah ah ah".

Of course when I get a Traffic alert at 3AM and it sounds like someone is being murdered, I may not find it so amusing.  Who am I kidding, of course I will!

I can't wait to get home and put up my decorations!!!!  The agreement is no decor until the month of the holiday...it's October 1st...whoohoo!!!  I also can't wait to see what Speedy does.  Last year was Demon Spawns first Halloween and she walked around in a constant state of "WTF".  She would crawl into my lap and hiss at the skeleton hanging from my fan.  I posted on FB about her dislike of my Halloween decorations to which my bestie replied "does she know she is a Halloween decoration?!?"  Skiddish cat + black cat = my little witch's familiar. 

Speedy is scared of his own shadow so who knows what he'll do.  I can't wait, *muahahaha*.

How many should I put?!?!?  I wasn't going to post anything "serious" today.  I did my remembrance on the 10 year anniversary and while I'll never forget, I wont rehash it every year.  With that said, OMG people are brutal!

I don't think that is what that means.  First of all at least spell $hit right if you are going to be an @$$hat.  Second, you can't fix anything with hate.  That is ignorant and just makes everything 10 times worse.  Being hateful towards EVERYONE who happens to be Muslim/Middle Eastern because a few extremist went all ape$hit isn't going to fix ANYTHING!  This hurt.  To see that much seething hatred, it is unnecessary.  Of course we should NEVER forget.  It was a horrible day and many perished but you can't blame an entire religion or part of the world for the actions of a few.  Yes there are many who probably supported this action (and they are bad or misguided people, sorry) but there are also others who were horrified to be associated with it.  There are extremists in EVERY religion/culture.  There are Christians I'd rather not be associated with and I have to say all the time "not all of us think like that".

Yea it may not be beneficial to us to take in 10,000 refugees but that isn't really the point.  This statement isn't based on the problems caused by an influx of refugees, this is based on who and where the refugees are from. Where is your bible thumping bull$hit now?  Doesn't it say something about helping those less fortunate, in need, whatever.  These people seem to be in need.  Or should we turn our backs because they aren't the same religion?  Wouldn't you want the world to help us if something terrible happened here or would you want them to shut their borders and write us off as a total loss because we are "stupid Americans"? 

Of course this should be thought through very carefully...I mean the world economy is basically collapsing and taking on more people could be detrimental for any country. But the crazed hatred is still unnecessary.  Yes I know people who fought overseas after 9/11 and I know they suffered greatly because of some of the hateful people over there.  It's a f**ked up situation all around.  I just don't think using 9/11 as a "prop" is the way to go. 

Do I want to endanger my country, its citizens?  Of course not! I just want us to get passed all the prejudice/racist/extremist bull$hit.  

This song may not be about issues today (it is from 1992) but it sure hits home when you listen to it considering all the crap happening in the here and now.

Sorry, sorry for the "internet speak" but two different musicians have me having feelings at the moment...completely opposing feelings.  My feelings are confused.  Dammit, I came here to have a good time and I am just feeling so many things right now.

First up, Mr. Ed...Sheeran (tee hee hee).

OMG is that a baby Ed (I mean a really baby Ed not the fact that he is STILL a baby...24 Good Lord!)?  This was the most ADORKABLE video ever!  Then I looked up the lyrics and...shut up, I'm not crying I just cut an onion or something.  He needs to stop with his amazing music.

If you haven't seen the video...it is, um, disturbing, to say the least.  I like the song, I downloaded the song, I listen to the song and just love it (plus I like Maroon 5).  When I first heard it, I thought it was about undeniable attraction which is a tad bit hot...then I watched the video (and read the lyrics) and feel like I need to add more locks to all doors and windows and carry an extra can of mace.  WTF MAN?!?  The vid is below:

I know the vid came out a few months ago but here are my thoughts...JFC can he be any freaking sexier.  Its ridiculous.  Seriously, do you ever see a celebrity and think "his/her level of attractiveness should be banned!".  Especially when they try to make them look "bad" but they just can't look bad...its nauseating really. 

In all honesty, the idea behind this video should be terrifying but I kept coming back to the thought of Adam Levine in glasses with his shirt off.  Then the proper side of my brain kicks in and is like HE IS STALKING HER!  Moving back to the holy shit that's hot, like really hot.  The proper brain says "That's...what is wrong with you?!?! He is rubbing himself down with animal blood and swinging on a carcass!!!  That is not hot!".  But, but...he's scruffy with glasses and...oh my God, is he writhing in bed with her without her knowledge?!?! It should be illegal to make stalking look THAT attractive!  Its to the point where you are almost like, hey if HE wants to stalk me it couldn't be THAT bad. 

No...no....no.  It is THAT bad because think about it.  Some of the most notorious psycho paths were super attractive.  So here you have the creeptastic "um, he is in her room talking pictures and snuggling in her bed while she sleeps" which leads into a very intense "love" dream thing...then there are buckets of blood dumped on them.  I should totally be grossed out but I think True Blood desensitized me because I was not in the least grossed out.  Instead, I was like "hmmmmm this is borderline porn" and kept watching.   

So my thoughts...I will probably watch it again (and again and again)...even though the stalking really freaks me out...I've had "stalkers"...thankfully not to that extreme but how can you not want to watch it again (and again and again)!?!? *Argh* I think I need a cold shower.
